‘The LNP supports strong borders and Queenslanders should ignore Labor’s election rhetoric.
‘The LNP was the first party to call for border restrictions on Victoria when that state lost control of the virus.
‘We have to have strong borders to protect Queenslanders, but we need consistency, compassion and common sense too.
‘Labor are trying to distract from the unfair double-standards that Queenslanders keep seeing on border exemptions.
‘We can’t have one rule for AFL stars and celebrities and another rule for ordinary Queenslanders whose families are being torn apart.
‘Annastacia Palaszczuk is using borders as a political weapon and is hiding behind the Chief Health Officer.
‘Annastacia Palaszczuk is the Premier, she needs to own the decisions of her government.’
