Liberal National Party Leader Deb Frecklington said she welcomed Amanda Stoker being chosen by LNP members to fill the Senate vacancy.
"I’m proud of the LNP’s democratic process in selecting our elected representatives," Ms Frecklington said.
"Amanda brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the LNP team and I’m confident she’ll be strong voice in Canberra.
