Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington is encouraging manufacturers across the Nanango electorate to apply for the new Transforming Queensland Manufacturing Grant Program, saying the sector deserves real support as one of Queensland’s biggest job creators.

The Crisafulli Government has launched the $79.1 million Transforming Queensland Manufacturing Grant Program to supercharge innovation and create new opportunities across the state, with a strong focus on regional economies.

This program will help businesses create new manufacturing jobs, upgrade machinery, and invest in new equipment to strengthen their operations. Queensland is open for business.

Eligible Queensland-based manufacturers can apply for matched funding grants of $100,000 to $1.5 million for projects that:

  • facilitate pathways for export opportunities
  • reshore or onshore manufacturing currently undertaken interstate or overseas
  • improve productivity and competitiveness
  • stimulate private sector investment and generate jobs.

“The Crisafulli Government knows manufacturing doesn’t just happen in Brisbane — and for the first time, half of all funding will be exclusively available to businesses across regional Queensland,” Deb said.

“As a regional MP, I’m proud of our commitment to helping regional manufacturers shine.”

“I encourage all eligible businesses to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to transform their operations and future‑proof their success.” Said Deb

Applications for Round 1 close Thursday, 16 April 2026 at 1pm.  Apply here: https://www.business.qld.gov.au/industries/manufacturing-retail/manufacturing/grant-programs/transforming
