Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has welcomed the announcement that Queensland Government Ministers will travel to the South Burnett next month for a Community Cabinet.
Community Cabinet will be held in Kingaroy on Sunday, 7 June, with one‑on‑one meetings scheduled, providing local residents and stakeholders with the opportunity to engage directly with Government.
These meetings offer an important opportunity for local families, workers, businesses and community groups to raise issues, share ideas and discuss priorities directly with Ministers, ensuring regional voices are heard in decision-making at the highest levels of Government.
Ms Frecklington said Community Cabinet was a valuable opportunity for the South Burnett.
“Community Cabinet is a fantastic opportunity to showcase everything that makes the South Burnett such a strong and vibrant region, while also giving residents the chance to speak directly with the Premier and Ministers about the issues that matter most to them,” Deb said.
“I’ll continue working hard to deliver for our communities and ensure the priorities of South Burnett families, businesses and community groups are front and centre.”
