Member for Nanango, Deb Frecklington, is proud to announce the recipients of the final round of the ‘Deb Frecklington Local Hero Grants’ for 2025.

This round’s successful applicants are:

• Nanango & District Cricket Club
• Kingaroy Hospital Auxiliary Inc
• Jake Washband
• Kingaroy Clay Target Club

The Local Hero Grants program supports not‑for‑profit groups and individuals across the Nanango Electorate by providing small grants to help them continue their valuable work or pursue important opportunities.

Each round delivers four grants of $250 to assist with grassroots projects, local events, or to help individuals travel to sporting, cultural, or educational competitions.

Mrs Frecklington said the program continues to highlight the strength of the local community.

“We were inundated with applications from so many worthy recipients, which shows just how much great work is happening across our region,” said Deb.

“This program is about recognising and supporting the people and organisations who make a difference in their communities”.

“These grants are a simple but meaningful way to give back to our hardworking groups and to help local individuals achieve their aspirations” Deb said.
