Member for Nanango, Deb Frecklington is pleased to announce the successful applicants in the latest round of the Local Hero Grants, supporting grassroots organisations and individuals across the Nanango Electorate.
The Local Hero Grants program provides small but meaningful contributions to not‑for‑profit groups and local residents, helping them continue their valuable work or pursue important opportunities.
This round’s recipients are:
• Toogoolawah Tennis Club
• Nanango Lions Club
• Wondai Business and District Association
• South Burnett Filipino-Australian Caring Group Inc
Each round delivers four grants of $250 to assist with community projects, local events, or travel to sporting, cultural, or educational competitions.
“Every round, we see outstanding applications from people who are working hard to make a difference in their communities,” Deb said.
“Round 28 attracted a significant number of applications, and choosing just four recipients was an extremely difficult task.”
“These grants are a simple way to recognise that effort and to support the individuals and groups who contribute so much to the Nanango Electorate” said Deb
Round 29 of the Local Hero Grants is now open.
