LNP invests $35 million to upgrade Boyne River Bridge

6th November 2017

LNP Candidate for Callide Colin Boyce has announced that an LNP Government will invest $35 million in vital safety upgrades for Boyne River Bridge.

Mr Boyce said Labor weren’t interested in investing in regional infrastructure and they are certainly not interested in investing in the bridge projects our state needs.

“Regional Queensland residents have suffered from a lack of new infrastructure projects for too long under Annastacia Palaszczuk,” Mr Boyce said.

“Enough is enough – only the LNP can be trusted to build the bridges Queensland needs.

“This is why an LNP Government will invest $35 million upgrading Boyne River Bridge.”

“Instead of sitting around talking about building infrastructure like Annastacia Palaszczuk, the LNP has put its money where its mouth is and will actually deliver the roads, bridges and dams we need,” Ms Frecklington said.

“A vote for anyone other than the LNP will see a return of a do-nothing Labor Government which has the wrong priorities and has taken the people of Callide for granted and not delivered.

“The Boyne River Bridge upgrade is all part of our plan to Build a Better Queensland by building a better Callide.”
