There is growing evidence the Queensland Government’s energy generators are rorting the National Energy Market, pushing up power prices for Queenslanders and businesses.
The Premier and her Energy Minister should intervene just like they did in 2017 and direct the energy generators to reduce their exorbitant bidding practices so we can reduce energy bills.
The State Government is milking excessive profits from our generators and trickling only a handful of that money back to consumers.
Queensland has the highest electricity prices in the country.
If the State Government keeps this up, prices will skyrocket even higher.
It’s costing households.
It’s costing businesses.
The Palaszczuk Government must act before businesses go broke and the rising cost of living pressures hit Queenslanders even harder.
