The Palaszczuk Government’s energy rebate was announced in May to be applied to your next bill.

Many Queenslanders would have adjusted their budgets for a rebate that never arrived.
In farcical scenes during Estimates it was revealed the energy retailers hadn’t even been informed by the Palaszczuk Government about the rebate.
It had been announced but never organised.
The Premier and the Energy Minister Mick de Brenni were publicly embarrassed in media conferences when they were forced to admit the glaring mistake.
Today we learn many Queenslanders won’t see the rebate applied until November.
You cannot trust the Palaszczuk Government to deliver in your hour of need.
Queenslanders deserve better.
